What is the Caregiver Training Grant (CTG)?
Grant Amount
The CTG provides up to <strong>$200 per caregiver per year</strong> for approved training courses. Some specialized courses may have additional subsidies available.
Who is Eligible?

Foreign domestic workers and paid caregivers are not eligible for CTG, but they can attend training through other AIC programmes.
- Caregiver must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Care recipient must be a Singapore Citizen
- Care recipient is aged 65+ OR has functional limitations
- Caregiver provides regular, unpaid care to the recipient
- Both caregiver and recipient living in the same household is NOT required

Course Duration
Most courses run 1-2 days (6-12 hours total). They're held at various community locations and some offer weekend sessions for working caregivers.

- ABCs of Caregiving Set C: Caring for persons with dementia

- Step 1: Choose a CTG-approved course from AIC's training calendar
- Step 2: Register for the course with the training provider
- Step 3: Inform the provider you wish to use CTG subsidy
- Step 4: Submit required documents (IC copies for caregiver and care recipient)
- Step 5: Pay only the subsidized amount at registration
